An hair-raising adventure

I don't think many people could have foreseen this one; apparently the Labour Party splashed out something around £7,700 on Cherie Blair's HAIR during the election period last year. Yes, that works out at about £275 a day.
Now I'm sorry, but I just don't see how this can possibly be defendable. For a start, I don't believe that she needed a professional stylist every day, but surely, even if she did, someone could have been found to do an equal - or superior - job for much less. It is utterly ridiculous.

Still, at least we now know where those £n million peerage 'loans' went. And of course, another nail for the coffin of Blair and Labour.
