New party political broadcast

Dear Labour,

I have just seen the new 'Dave the Chameleon' party political broadcast, and whilst I must commend the graphics, I am otherwise disgusted.

Time and time again, you (the Labour Party) have failed to outline your own policies, instead choosing to partake in these purile, immature, and quite frankly EMBARASSING personal attacks. It's the political equivalent of "My Dad's bigger than your Dad!".

And you wonder why the electorate - especially the 'young' - are so disillusioned with politics?! Does your party really have so little substance that this is all it can do? Evidently so.

Why can you not state the policies of your rival parties and then counter them with your own, explaining why yours are better, how they are better, how they will affect people and so on? It would give Labour - and politics in general - a lot more credibility. (You never know, people might warm to you so much that they decide to donate; then you won't need any more of those dodgy loans.) The only logical conclusion I can draw is that you do not have any real policies to comment on, and this is why you resort to such childish behaviour.

Despite anything else, the hypocrisy of the advert is blinding - the whole broadcast could have just as easily have applied to Tony Blair! Your party is behaving like a spoilt five year-old, throwing a 'wobbly' because someone is copying it. And doing it better.

I honestly can not in words do justice to my level of disgust and repulsion regarding this. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yours faithfully,
Mr. Aaron Brown

(P.S. Of course, I don't really expect a reply to this - certainly not an individual one - as quite honestly I do not believe you care one bit about the electorate, as long as they vote 'red'. Although as certain party members proved last year, how someone votes doesn't enter into it too much either.)
