Well, Saddam Hussein, the deposed leader of Iraq, has been executed.

Sigh.

These Iraqis just don't get it. They're never going to be taken seriously if they go around executing people willy-nilly, no matter what the condemned may have done in the past. The whole thing smacks of hypocrasy. The one he got being the complete and utter shambles of a joke which it was, they may as well have just sent the poor man to his death without trial. The Iraqi government and their supporters are now no better than the man they have just executed, which worries me greatly.

Maybe they'll demand the trial and consequent execution of Tony Blair and George Bush next.

Well, one can only hope.
