Espresso overdose
Now this is just brilliant: a 17-year old girl from County Durham was admitted to hospital recently after overdosing on caffeine - she had drunk 7 double-espressos whilst at work in her family's sandwich shop.
Thinking that she had had single measures, the girl began laughing and crying for no apparent reason whilst serving customers. Soon, she was hyperventilating, 'drenched' in sweat, suffering heart palpatations and had a fever.
Couldn't make it up, could you?
