Booo!
David Cameron and David Davis were booed when walking onto stage to
present an award at the National Television Awards on Tuesday.
How fucking pathetically socialist.

Stop complaining. Bitch.
So, whiney dog-faced 'actress' Gwyneth Paltrow is at it again; complaining about Britain. First it was that "British men never ask me out" (because they can see), but now, in an interview with the American edition of Marie Claire magazine, she complains again...
Apparently it ALWAYS rains (which, much to my dismay, is far from true), the streets are dirty (really depends on WHERE you live, dear), and customer services are rubbish (really depends WHERE you shop, dear). What a whiney little bitch.
If she doesn't like it here, she can go. I for one don't want her, or her equally infuriating husband, in my country.

The IT Crowd
Last Friday, I attended the first night recording of new Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd, which should be highly amusing once it hits our screens next year.
It's written by Graham Linehan (Black Books , Father Ted) and produced by Ash Atalla (The Office), and looks like it should please most comedy fans; Graham himself described it as "Father Ted with geeks", which isn't too far off (although it is a pretty original, seperate show in its own right, not a direct rewrite).

Anyway, more information as I see it!

Snake attack!
I know I probably shouldn't laugh at this, but the image it creates in my mind is just hilarious.

RIP Ronnie
On a more sombre note than I usually take, a great hero of mine, the comedy genius Ronnie Barker, died yesterday, at the tragically early age of 76.
He was a truly great man, whom I was lucky enough to have seen at a television recording relatively recently.
He will be greatly missed by one and all.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Double Standards
So, Labour complain at the thought of people helping pay for their own
health treatment, yet are now complaining that a released
lottery-winning criminal should pay for his own rehabilitation.
Riiight.
